If the calendar is similar here as Japan, then the new year shall be upon us soon. I wonder what the Shougatsu festivities are like here. I have yet to see signs of kadomatsu or bells to welcome in the new year and bring upon us good fortune and prosperity. I shall look for the supplies to make a small kadomatsu and place it outside my door. I do hope somewhere I may find them.
