The shadow bubble has merged with our own sometime overnight. With it arrived another quarter of Vatheon and a rather unusual festival with people painted strangely as if they wish to scare away oni. It is somewhat late for Setsubun, though Vatheon may need the cleansing and blessings of such a ceremony.

These people seem to pose no threat other than repeatedly offering me some unusual creation called a balloon animal.

If he is a clown, then clowns are quite mischievous and dangerous creatures, like the tanuki.

He's from my world. We defeated him...I was rather surprised to find he was here when I arrived. He's been relatively quiet though. I would think he would kick up a fuss over at least over this festivity.

I don't think all clowns are like him. The state of his mind is broken thanks to the magicite infusion.
