Formalities and sake bowls [ video ]
Dec. 20th, 2010 04:51 pm[ Kenshin appears, the top of a formal kimono visible on the screen. ]
I must confess, this is the first occasion where I've awoken in formal clothing. Granted, I hardly have warn a formal kimono since the warring has begun, yet I find this hardly falls under the classification of curse. [ though it's very hard to read, he is still rather suspicious of where this curse might be heading. Now on to other irrelevant matters... ]
I seem to also have caused quite a stir recently at the plaza. It was a simple request for sake, yet the locals took to staring as if they have never witnessed someone drink sake. [ Then again, he drinks sake from a sake bowl the size of a dinner plate... (anyone's welcome to have seen that :D). He finds this somewhat entertaining. He does like flashy and unusual. ] I do hope to see that waitress again. She was quite receptive to my request for another bottle of sake while others simply stared.
[ ooc: since Kenshin's a traditional samurai, I've stuck him in formal traditional clothing. Male kimonos look like this. However since this is Kenshin, it won't be completely traditional. It's colored vibrant blue and white, he'll still have his headwrap (because he's never ever been shown without it), and straw sandals (because geta are such a pain in the ass), his sword tucked in his sash (though only one. He doesn't have the traditional pair). Something along the lines of this icon. ]
